Hopper & Tray Bird Feeders

Hopper style bird feeders are some of the most classic designs and attract many of the possible birds that feed in your backyard. They hold enough seed to last for several days and also keep the seed dry from the rain, with many having metal mesh tray inserts to allow for any necessary drainage. Some of the hopper feeders we carry also have suet cages attached on both sides to help attract woodpeckers as well!

Tray (or platform) style bird feeders attract the widest variety of any bird feeders, especially any ground feeding birds such as Cardinals, Mourning Doves, Juncos & several types of sparrows. All of our tray feeders have metal mesh inserts to allow for drainage, but any seed you put in the feeder can get wet in bad weather. So make sure you only put enough seed in them to last for a day or two at most.
